When the Coronavirus causes shortages of lifesaving medications and medical devices across the United States, THIS is the one solution

For generations, manufacturing jobs have been fleeing the United States.  The reason for this is unquestionably the ever-increasing minimum wage and the extremely intrusive regulatory environment government imposed upon the citizens and entrepreneurs of America.  Millions of Americans, rightfully so, are very concerned that the medications and products they need every day to stay alive may very well be in short supply soon.  The reason this is a real possibility is politicians’ unquenchable lust for power, and huge, slow to adapt and innovate corporations’ that desire monopolies to destroy smaller, more agile, although less affluent, competitors.

The result is an American population almost completely dependent upon other countries, predominantly China, for critical, lifesaving products and medications, and why America could face a much more deadly problem than the Coronavirus itself.

Regulations prop-up and establish control by a small group of big businesses and politicians

The more regulations imposed upon a society, the more barriers that are erected to prevent new and innovative companies to enter a marketplace.  Corporatist politicians and big businesses know that the more cumbersome it is to start a business, the more of a disincentive it is to take the risk.  Fewer entrepreneurs taking risks keep the dinosaur-like mega corporations safe from more flexible startups and small businesses.

As stated in the AntiCorportism article titled, Government imposed regulations are the foundation of American corporatism:  “[R]egardless of what regulations exist in a market, it has always been and will always be (in a moral society) illegal and punishable to bring harm or violate the equal rights of any individual.”

Regulations do NOTHING to change this or improve upon this reality, they only set standards that mitigate innovation and often make it literally an act of Congress to consider alternatives to the established means of production.

The minimum wage is the same issue and result

As the cost of human capital goes up, voluntary exchanges of work for wages are pushed out of the marketplace and migrate elsewhere in which such exchanges are legally allowed.  As explained in the AntiCorporatism article titled, A bombshell revelation: Unrestrained immigration, the minimum wage, and the political Left’s poisonous goal for American workers:

The obvious intent of supporting both the minimum wage and unfettered immigration is to price American workers out of the workforce while filling those jobs with people who have only known and lived in a government-controlled economy.

So what is the effect today?

American citizens are not only paying to have products shipped from the other side of the world, but also when that country experiences a serious problem such as the Coronavirus or war, we as Americans face a serious problem due to our dependence on their stability and means of making rational and moral decisions in a time of crisis.  History proves this is not a safe bet.

This exposes yet another inhumane aspect of the minimum wage and regulations; not only do these take jobs and income from American workers, they also put at serious risk the most vulnerable in society.  The elderly, impoverished, and sickly may very well be in serious trouble soon in the United States, and we can thank the corporatists of America for their struggle and likely loss of life.
